Just don't try to use mods that rely on SKSE going forward unless you have the proper versions of both. That is unless you wanted the update then of course you are fine because you knew in advance your current mod list would most likely break depending on which mods you had installed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND UPDATING YOUR COPY OF SKYRIM SE IF YOU CURRENTLY HAVE MODS INSTALLED AND WANT TO CONTINUE PLAYING ON THAT SAVE. Textures of course still safe in the vast majority of cases. Only the mods in this guide that need the Address Library and/or FISSES don't work in the full SAE upgrade. They just can't use mods that require 'Address Library' and FISS. I have people using this guide right now () for the new upgraded version. IF you have Game version 1.5.97 and you still have the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch USSEP before it's update you can use this guide for Skyrim as we knew it pre 11/11. You may want to ROLLBACK your game version to 1.5.97 - if so look one section down Mods in this guide that require the mods 'Address Library' and/or FISSES DO NOT work in the full SAE upgrade. So far it seems you can use 'most' of this guide HOWEVER for SKSE you must download Preliminary AE build 2.1.2 (runtime 1.6.318): 7z archive. SKYRIM AE (v1.6.318): This guide is also currently being tested for Skyrim AE. (You may still have these files on your hard drive so you may want to check).

SKYRIM SE (v1.5.97): Everything in this guide works for Skyrim SE as long as you have the USSEP for v1.5.97 of Skyrim SE which is no longer available for download, AND for SKSE64 you must make sure to download the proper version which is Current SE build 2.0.20 (runtime 1.5.97): 7z archive.
